British Summer Time Ends
The clocks go back one hour at 2am on Sunday 27 October.
Please take extra care when driving through the Forest, be mindful of wildlife, and pass wide and slow if you see ponies and other animals.
Around this time of year, we start to see an increase in animal deaths on the roads.
If you’re involved in, or witness an animal accident, contact the police – call 999 in an emergency or 101 in a non-emergency.
You can pick up a card from any of our information offices which have an emergency hotline and details of what to do if you are involved in or witness an animal accident in the New Forest.
When the clocks go back, the UK will switch from British Summer Time to Greenwich Mean Time. You can add this to your calendar on the GOV.UK website.
