WI Speaker International Women’s Day
Friday 7th March 12-1pm
Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking discussion in celebration of International Women’s Day. We are delighted to welcome Abi Wright, co-founder of Festival of the Girl, and Matt Pinkett, who will explore the real-world consequences of misogyny and why understanding these impacts is the crucial first step toward meaningful change.
This talk will delve into how misogyny threatens to undo progress toward gender equality and why failing to challenge it risks normalising harmful attitudes and behaviours. We’ll examine how these issues affect young people in particular and discuss what we can do to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
Don’t miss this important conversation—join us and be part of the change!
