To be honest, it’s not that far however, our walk in December, arranged by the ever resourceful Vivienne and Jacqueline, included a great variety of things to look at. There were sturdy Victorian detached villas next to charming thatched cottages and modern, concrete and glass homes. We stopped to admire striking, oversized Christmas baubles adorning one home and counted 6 real Christmas trees outside another. The lights and decorations certainly lit up a fairly dull morning and mother nature was not to outdone with autumnal orange and brown leaves still on trees. A stop for coffee included views across the coast and a chance to discuss everything from politics to mince pies. Why not join us in January
