It was great to be socialising amongst friends again, this was our first outing in 18 months!
The weather was perfect , not a cloud in the sky, which made our hour cruise down to Hengistsbury absolutely stunning. The tide was very low which bought many of the wading birds to the 
waters edge, the ponies were also having their evening drink.
Our excellent skipper steered our boat down the very narrow and shallow channel. Other boats weren’t so skilful and we’re grounded having to wait for the change in tide.
We arrived back to Tuckton Tea Rooms to the smell of the most delicious barbecue and wonderful selection of homemade salads. We finished with
ice cream and tea and coffee.
It was a fantastic evening with lots of laughter and lovely to feel normal again!
