William Wordworth’s poem stated “Yet art thou welcome, welcome as a friend” and whilst he was writing about one of the first signs of spring, the snowdrop, it could also describe Gill’s welcome to the Gardening Club. Snowdrops are found across the UK and favour damp soil. They normally flower in January and February and certainly bring a smile to your face. Want to know more? Gill is the person to ask.
